Colorado State Fair Parade
<p>The Colorado State Fair Parade, "Colorado: Colors of Courage" will take place Saturday, August 25 at 10am on Colorado and Abriendo Avenue, down Union Avenue to Main Street concluding on 8th Street.<br />
With well over 100 floats, including bands, royalty and civic organizations, the Colorado State Fair Parade is a must-see. Prizes will be awarded to the top three in each category including youth organizations, civic/community organizations and commercial. Prizes will also be awarded to the first in Saddle Club, animal drawn vehicles, antique vehicles and custom vehicles.<br />
Marching bands in the parade will finish their portion of the competition at the Pepsi Stage at the Colorado State Fairgrounds. Non-profit organizations can enter the "Pooper Scooper Contest" to be judged on costume, creativity, usefulness, entertainment value an how well they "scoop the poop" after the parade animals pass.<br />
A pancake breakfast will take place prior tot he parade a the Gold Dust Saloon on Union.<br />
The Colorado State Fair Parade is coordinated by the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce.<br />
